Hotels in Lille

For your convenience, ICWES14 has secured Hotel accommodation in Lille down town (about 30 minutes from the conference site with the metro).

An agreement with the ACCOR group allows to book rooms at reduced prices in a set of hotels with different level of comfort. The price range is approximately from 45 € to 110 € per night and per person according to the occupancy (rooms with a double bed or twin beds). Families can find twin beds with a double bed plus a single bed, in Novotel and Suite Hotel. Breakfast is always included except for the lowest prices (Etap Hotel).

Dormitories in Cité Scientifique (place of venue of the conference)

Dormitories at the University of Lille 1 “Bachelard Residence“ have also been booked (about 15 minutes on foot from the conference site). At this time of the year, students are on Holidays.

Rooms are with a single bed and collective bathroom.

Special price for students: 18 € / night.

Others:  32 € / night

Breakfast is included.

These rooms are to be booked directly on the “Accommodation and Tour reservation” form and paid together with the tours you may have selected.

You may also prefer looking for accommodation by yourself.

Payment

At the end of the form you will be asked for payment if you select some tour(s) and/or dormitories. For Hotel selection only, you will be linked directly to the ACCOR website and have to pay there to book your rooms.

If you select tours and hotel, you will be asked to pay the tours first and then you will be linked to ACCOR.

If payment on ICWES14 website, the same methods used for registration are accepted:
- Credit Card  (procedure attached to the form).

- VISA and Eurocard MasterCard are accepted exclusively.

Confirmation

Your reservation (tours and/or dormitories ONLY) will be acknowledged by automatic reply e-mail. In the case of bank transfer, it will be confirmed once your payment is received. The bank receipt will be accepted as confirmation of payment.

Cancellation policy

Notification of cancellation (tours and/or dormitories ONLY) must be sent by e-mail or fax to ICWES14 secretariat
Before or on June 15, 2008: 60% refund
After June 15, 2008: no refund
All bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount
Please, note that for administrative reasons, refunds will be made after the conference
