Situated just 400 meters from one another, Lille’s two train stations are located in the city centre  and are served by both the subway and the tram.

Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris

Lille Europe Station: Eurostar service to London and Brussels, direct TGV service to Roissy Airport, Paris and all major French cities.

London: 80 minutes

Paris: 1 hour, 26 direct TGVs a day

Brussels: 38 minutes, 14 TGV and Eurostar trains a day

If you are in Lille, the main station is Lille Flandres Station (from there you can go anywhere)

You take the Métro, Line 1, direction 4 Cantons (yellow line)

You get out at the station 4 Cantons

Then you follow the directions (5 minutes walking from the conference spot)

How to go to the registration desk in Lille downtown, on July 15.

Go out of the Lille Flandres station (main entrance with a fountain). You cross the street to arrive Rue Faidherbe. At the end of this street there is another street in front (a little bit on your right) called Place du Theatre. The Chambre de commerce et de l’industrie is right there.

How to go to the dormitory

You have to take the Metro line N° 1, stop at Station “Cité Scientifique” and go on foot to “Residence Bachelard” where you will be welcomed .

The reception of the “Résidence Bachelard” dormitory, is opened at Building M (right door when facing the building) from 9:00 to 20:30. If you arrive after 20:30, kindly go to the left door.

Students will have to show their student cards.

How to go to the hotels

Novotel Lille Gares : The Novotel is situated right behind the Lille Flandres Station (49 rue de Tournai). When you go out of the station (the main entrance = the one in front when you go out of your train), turn left (there will be a fountain in front of you) and left again (you should be at Place de la Gare), keep walking and there you are.

All Seasons Lille Centre: The All Seasons Lille Centre is located rue de Paris. When you arrive at the
Lille Flandres Station, go downstairs to take the Métro, line 2, direction Lomme Saint Philibert. Get down at the next stop, Mairie de Lille.  You will arrive Rue Saint Sauveur. Now depending on where you stand (but I think you need to turn left), you have to find the Avenue du Président Kennedy. Then on your right you will have the Rue de Paris.
And there you are.

Ibis Lille Gares: The Ibis Lille Centre Gares hotel is located behind the Lille Flandres Station. When you go out of the station (the main entrance = the one in front when you go out of your train), turn left (there will be a fountain in front of you) and left again (you should be at Place de la Gare). Then you turn right at Avenue Charles Saint Venant. The hotel is on your left.

Ibis Lille Opera: The Ibis Lille Opera is located in the town centre or what we call the rue Pietonnes (which is the little streets with all the shops and restaurants). So if you like to walk a bit (not long, I’d say about 15 minutes..) you go out of the Lille Flandres station (main entrance with the fountain). You cross the street to arrive Rue Faidherbe. At the end of this street there is another street in front (a little bit on your right) called Place du theatre. Go there and then on your left (not straight left) there is the Rue Pelletier
and the hotel is at the end of the street.

Mercure Lille Centre Opera: The Mercure Lille Opera is also located in the town centre or what we call the rue Pietonnes. Go out of the Lille Flandres station (main entrance with the fountain). You cross the street to arrive Rue Faidherbe. At the end of the street turn right Rue Leon Trulin. Then your turn the first street on your left and then right and there you go.

Mercure Lille Metropole:
The Mercure Lille Metropole hotel is located in Marcq en Baroeul (near Lille). From the Lille Flandres Station, go downstairs to take the Tramway, line T, direction Tourcoing. Go out at the station Cerisaie. You arrive Avenue de la Marne and the hotel is located at the number 157.

Suite Hotel Lille Europe : The Suite Hotel Lille Europe is located in front of the Lille Europe Station. When you go out of this station it is right in front of you.

Etap hotel lille centre:
When you go out of the Gare Lille Flandres station, take the Rue des Cannoniers and go to the end of the street till you reach Rue des Urbanistes. Turn left and you will arrive Place des Bleuets. Then turn right and you arrive Rue de Courtrai.
