ICWES14, the International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists is the 14th in a series of International Conferences held, every three years, all over the world since 1964 as the headlight event of INWES (International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists).
Under the theme of “A changing world : new opportunities for women engineers and scientists”, the conference is an opportunity for all participants to exchange ideas and information with outstanding professional and academic women working in an international and challenging environment, leading change and helping progress of cultural change.
The CNISF (Conseil National des Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France) is honoured to welcome and organize the next ICWES14 in Lille – France. We are expecting a great participation of European attendees as well as from all over the world, enjoying this famous event for women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
It will be held from Tuesday, July 15th to Friday 18th, 2008, in Lille (France). Lille was the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2004. You will discover a city with its rich past, its commitment and dynamism in cultural and economic activities. As the Capital city of a flourishing industrial region which recently welcomed research centres in distribution, transports and aquatic products. Lille is strongly tied to its brilliant past and traditions, and definitively looking to the future.
